Birthday party!
We had Lucinda’s birthday party today. We had about 12 kids and associated parents, so our little house was pretty full. The theme was a ‘cooking party’. We had the kids each assemble their own little lasagna and a ‘salad on a stick’. Only a few kids poked themselves with the skewers, so I guess it worked out all right. And almost all of them liked the lasagna. As always, there are pictures in Lucinda’s photo album.

You know why I love and admire your blog, Stan? It’s in the ease in which you leap from Ron Jeremy and Deep Throat to Salad on a Stick. Hmmmm, as I wrote that, it doesn’t seem to be much of a leap from Deep Throat to the Salad Stick.
Still, you cover all the bases, Stan, and that’s what counts.

That is a great idea! Any ideas for a theme for a 6 year old boy? March 17th….so sick of the typical. At least we’re not having it at Chuckee Cheese. Ick.

Well, the cooking party is unisex. It would work just as well for a boy. That way you both feed the kids and give them something to do. Failing that, just look on the net. I think Cathy found her ideas for Lucinda’s party with Google.
