Kid Crafts

Cathy volunteered to lead some art projects at Lucinda’s school. So today she went there and the kids made little turkeys out of Rice Krispies, pretzels, frosting, and so forth. Apparently, this was a big hit with the kids. The pictures show one of the ‘turkey bodies’ before decorating, and then one of the finished product.

poinsettia
I have a six-year-old poinsettia in my office that I rescued after Christmas some years ago. I keep it in the window, and because I never turn on my office lights, it sees the natural day-night cycle, and it blooms every year. It’s starting to turn red now, so that means that the holidays are not far away.
